Wemaflex was registered in Accra in September 2024, and started from a complaint. Businesses here are handed generic products and told to bend their workflow around them, then handed a ticket queue when the thing breaks.
So the company does two things deliberately. It builds systems around how a business actually works, rather than around a product that already exists. And it stays on afterwards, with support that reaches the engineer who built the system instead of a queue in another timezone.
That standard comes from where the engineering was learned: five years on systems where failure is expensive, including payment integrations and a national USSD channel, built by our founder as a senior software engineer at previous companies. Systems that move money have a narrow definition of working, and that is the bar the work is held to here.
